OJAY
BIOGRAPHY
Ojay emerged in 2023 as one of Perth's most captivating alt-rock / pop-rock outfits, with the release of their long awaited sophomore album "The Ride" - a daring, narrative-driven concept album defying genre boundaries, and putting their songwriting flair on full display.
2023 saw the four-piece headlining sold-out shows, releasing three standalone singles, and gaining almost 100k streams from their independent releases.
The Fremantle based band has quickly garnered a reputation for high-energy, intoxicating live performances up and down the western seaboard - never quite finding a solid home for their unique mix of genres.
Ojay are set to sail into 2024 with high momentum - with festival slots, tour dates, and brand new music still, this is just the start of much more to come for these boys and their fans that have been with them since their formation.

- Andrea Thompson.
Their recorded output is surprisingly mature for a band at their early stage. Have a listen to them on Spotify and you’ll hear that in songs like ‘These Kids’, where all the dynamics and studio craft are already there.
